Ewan McGregor plays both Jesus and the devil in the reimagination of Christ’s 40 days in the desert. On his journey out of the wilderness, Jesus encounters the devil, who is eager to tempt the fatigued traveler. Jesus struggles over a family in crisis and finds himself in a dramatic confrontation with his own fate.
