2019 Internship Program

Virginia Film Festival hosts an intensive internship program each Fall semester that gives seven students hands-on experience in all aspects of planning and running a five-day festival.

Our internships are open only to current, full-time University of Virginia students.

Fall 2019 Internships are available in the following key areas:

  • Fundraising
  • Production & Guest Services
  • Publicity & Marketing
  • VAFF Scholars Program
  • Youth Education Programs

Internship Applications

All applicants must email a cover letter, resume, and required supplemental materials, to Jenny Mays, jlm4wv@virginia.edu by Friday, April 26. For returning interns, a letter of interest and updated resume can be submitted in lieu of a formal application.
