Django

In 1940s Paris, Django Reinhardt electrified audiences with his distinctive style of “hot jazz”. Serving as a tribute to the European Jazz pioneer, the Wartime biopic Django recounts a tumultuous chapter in the life of the legendary Romani guitarist. When Nazism forces Reinhardt to escape German-occupied Paris, the jazz celebrity refuses to become silent as his music is praised as a form of protest. In an effort to overcome the period of suffering, Reinhardt charms admirers, including his muse Louise de Klerk, to aid in the resistance against the Third Reich.
