Wildlike

Mackenzie, a daring but troubled teenager, must go live with her uncle in Alaska, but her already bleak situation quickly clouds over. When her uncle turns abrasive, and with no help from her mother, she flees. She finds herself alone in the Alaskan wilds, and a chance connection with a loner backpacker, Bart, proves to be her only lifeline. They prove to be the unlikely salve for each other’s scars, until the damage Mackenzie carries and manipulative calls from her uncle threaten to destroy her newfound sanctuary. When Bart finally discovers her alarming secret, he must make a bold choice to take real responsibility for Mackenzie and help her escape her traumatic past once and for all.
