A Message from VAFF Director

As we all continue to come to terms with life and work in these very unsettling times, I wanted to reach out on behalf of the Virginia Film Festival to say that we are thinking about our patrons, supporters, and community members and hope you are all safe and healthy. I also want to let you know that we are working on ways to connect with you until we are able to gather in theaters again.

And as our plans develop, we would love to hear from you on how you would like to engage with us and us with you. Is there a favorite VAFF film from the past that you’d like to revisit and discuss? A former VAFF guest you would like to hear from? Or a new film, guest, or topic you would like us to host a conversation around? You can share your ideas with us at info@virginiafilmfestival.org.

On a final note, the 2020 Virginia Film Festival is currently scheduled for October 21-25 here in Charlottesville. We will keep you updated on any developments regarding this scheduling as they happen.

We look forward to being back in touch soon!
