Nunga Screen is a curated selection of short films including inspiring documentaries, captivating dramas, and artful animation by Indigenous Australian filmmakers. The film screening is presented in two parts—the first half features films suitable for all audiences, while the second half includes films with themes that may not be suitable for children. There will be a short intermission between the two segments.

Nici Cumpston, director of the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia, will give an introduction and host a Q&A at the conclusion of the event.

Nunga (Aboriginal people of southern South Australia) Screen is presented by Country Arts SA. This program is presented by the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia and the Virginia Film Festival.
