2025 Internship Program
The VAFF hosts an intensive internship program each Fall that gives UVA students hands-on experience in all aspects of planning and running a five-day festival. Our paid internships are open only to current, full-time University of Virginia students. Our 2025 pay rate is $13.00/hour.

Assistant Box Office Manager
- Contract Dates: 9/8/25-10/31/25
- Pay Rate: $25/hour
- Description: The Assistant Box will support the UVA Arts Box Office Manager and VAFF staff during the 2025 Film Festival. This position will work closely with VAFF staff to provide excellent customer service during all VAFF events.

Marketing Associate
- Contract Dates: 8/25/25-10/31/25
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
- Description: The VAFF’s Marketing Associate will work with Festival staff to plan and implement social media and targeted marketing campaigns around the 5-day Festival and will also support media relations, copywriting, box office reporting, and website maintenance.

Benefit & Ticketing Coordinator
- Contract Dates: 9/3/25 – 10/31/25
- Pay Rate: $25/hour
- Description: This position will work closely with the Assistant Director of UVA Arts Development, VAFF Admin Team, and Box Office staff to concierge ticket request and provide excellent customer service to donors, sponsors, guests, VIPs, and other Stakeholders.

Guest Services Coordinator
- Contract Dates: 8/25/25 – 10/31/25
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
- Description: The Guest Services Coordinator organizes key travel, accommodations, and other logistics for VAFF artist and guest visitors. This position supports and works closely with the Guest Services Manager (GSM) to provide top-notch hospitality to all VAFF guests leading up to, and during, the Virginia Film Festival.
