Parking
Parking for University of Virginia Venues
Parking on the University of Virginia Grounds is extremely limited. To account for Festival traffic, the VAFF will lift the gates on the Culbreth Parking Garage, making this the best location for free and available parking during the five days of the Festival.

Parking for Downtown Charlottesville Venues
Charlottesville City street parking is extremely limited. Additional paid parking garages are located near the Downtown Charlottesville pedestrian mall.

Charlottesville roads are known to be crowded so please add at least thirty minutes to your travel time.
CAT Free Trolley
The CAT Free Trolley services stops around the Downtown Mall and the Grounds of the University every 15 minutes on Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, Free Trolley service is every 30 minutes in the morning, and every 45 minutes in the afternoon. Service Hours are Monday – Saturday from 6:40 AM – 11:37 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM – 5:47 PM. Accessibility & Accommodations
The Virginia Film Festival and the University of Virginia are committed to providing universal access to all of our events.
All screening venues are accessible via ramp or elevators, offer wheelchair areas for viewing performances, and have accessible restrooms. Please see our Accessibility webpage for more information.
