The Killing of Two Lovers
After agreeing to separate from his wife Nikki, David frantically tries to keep his family of six together. David desperately wants things to get better with Nikki, yet reluctantly gives her the space she needs to figure out her life in the hopes it will ultimately lead her back to him. David’s short temper, jealousy, and fear of losing his family, mixed with the inability for anything to remain private in their suffocatingly small town, makes the feat of keeping it all together seem impossible. Stunning camerawork from filmmaker Robert Machoian allows for a story marked by emotional despair and desperation for something long since gone.
