Black Lives Matter : A Statement from the VAFF Staff

We believe that Black Lives Matter. We stand in solidarity with the protests across the World and demand justice for the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others. And we stand against the abhorrent racism and violence against people of color that continues to pervade our country. We are committed to furthering and expanding the ways in which the Virginia Film Festival offers a platform for Black voices, artists of color, and diverse points of view through our programming.
