The Tenth Man

After building a new and successful metropolitan life as an economist in New York, Ari feels he has left his past behind. His distant father Usher, who runs a Jewish aid foundation in El Once, summons him back to the close-knit Jewish community of Buenos Aires. In a comedy of errors, they miss one another for days as Usher continues to issue instructions to Ari for a plethora of errands. Not coincidentally, Ariel’s visit coincides with Purim, a holiday commemorating the salvation of the Jewish diaspora from annihilation.
