Dust Bunny

Ten-year-old Aurora is convinced a monster is hiding beneath her bed, and that the monster is responsible for eating her foster parents. With no one else to turn to, Aurora enlists her next-door neighbor, who just happens to be a hitman, to help take care of the beast.

Showrunner for the acclaimed cult series Hannibal and Pushing Daisies, director Bryan Fuller’s feature debut combines bedtime fable and thriller with vibrant style to create this whimsical fright. A notably expressive performance from Sophie Sloan as Aurora contrasts on screen with Mikkelsen’s silent, brooding assassin, bolstered by performances from Sigourney Weaver and David Dastlmalchian (Late Night with the Devil, The Dark Knight).

Dust Bunny pioneers a new kind of twisted fairy tale complete with action and assassins, enchanting for monster enthusiasts and uninitiated horror audiences alike.
