The lives of a soldier drafted against his will, a young socialite navigating a culture of homophobia, and a historian grappling with family involvement in the Spanish Civil War collide in this sweeping tapestry of time-hopping vignettes.

Drawing inspiration from the work of Federico García Lorca La Bola Negra features the acting debut of Álvaro Lafuente Calvo (aka. Guitarricadelafuente), as well as Oscar-winner Penélope Cruz, and Oscar-nominee Glenn Close. A strikingly ambitious film replete with stunning visuals and a propulsive score, this operatic epic centers on queer resistance across time and the legacy that love leaves behind.
