This sobering documentary draws from archives, home videos, street protests footage, newspapers, and recorded voices to reflect on the failed revolutions and prevailing feelings of hope that have defined the last forty years of Iran’s history. 

Told through a deeply personal lens, Ahangarani’s film conveys the tender admiration she holds for her loved ones as they endure countless hardships yet continue to nurture hope for a brighter future.
