Best of FAVS Program at GMU

Best of FAVS FINAL Image

Best of FAVS Program at GMU features a selection of top films from students in the Film and Video Studies Program at George Mason University. The documentaries explore topics including cosplayers in the forests of Virginia, an immigrant from El Salvador who is a world-class sushi chef, and a young woman struggling with her Islamic identity and American lifestyle. The fiction films are as diverse, following stories of a man who might be a lobster, a child in Ireland learning about violence, and a woman moving through stages of grief.
