Boone
Three young goat farmers come to terms with the physical and emotional grit required to live in deep communion with the land. In order to support the animals they care for, they must transition with the seasons and work relentlessly from sunrise to sundown. Strict laws hinder their dedication to a lifestyle of sustainability and self-reliance. Christopher LaMarca’s sensory directorial approach explores this forgotten rural landscape and the harsh reality of a small farm trying to survive. In this experiential homage to the life of a farmer, the sometimes turbulent relationships between human, animal, and nature are uncovered.
