Chronically Metropolitan
Fenton, a promising author, lost the love of Jessie when he published a thinly-veiled story about her family in The New Yorker. A year later, Fenton returns to New York to win Jessie back and to help his family cope after his father gets into a car accident. Fenton discovers, however, that Jessie is engaged to someone else, and his father is embroiled in his own affairs of the heart, threatening his relationship with his long-suffering wife. Chronically Metropolitan is a sardonic comedy about love and letting go.
