Cobweb
In this film-within-a-film, Kim Yeol is a filmmaker haunted by the desire to reimagine the conclusion of his film, Cobweb. Firmly convinced that such a revision would elevate it to the status of masterpiece, Yeol sets out to re-shoot the ending. Though a passionate producer believes in him, Yeol must contend with fussy actors, uncertain staff, and strict government censors who visit his set.
As chaos ensues on set and the altered final scene fails to sway actors and producers, Kim Yeol ‘s once-singular mission transforms into a complex and challenging endeavor. Known for pushing genre boundaries, Kim Jee Woon’s latest film will immerse audiences with its dark humor and meta-cinema.
