Daughter of Mine

Vittoria, a ten-year-old Sardinian girl, lives with her loving but overprotective adoptive mother Tina. At a rodeo, she meets Angelica, a fearless and independent spirit, who she immediately believes to be her birth mother. Angelica is struggling to make ends meet and faces eviction for failing to pay taxes, but as a final request before leaving town, asks to spend time with Vittoria. Tina begrudgingly agrees, but feels threatened by their strengthening relationship. The three women must navigate the emotional bonds that have brought them together, but could just as easily tear them apart.
