Fifth Street
screens before the feature film 5 to 7
Adèle always wanted to become a famous writer. After spending her entire life in a small town, reality sets in: cheerful greetings, the familiar faces of neighbors, even the smiles of her boyfriend Alex, begin to wear her down. Feeling trapped and unable to find anything worth writing about, Adèle decides that it is time to leave her small town, and Alex, behind. Fifth Street illustrates a young woman’s journey towards self discovery. The short film examines the ways we make meaning from past experiences.
