Futuro Beach

Working as a lifeguard at the spectacular but treacherous Praia do Futuro beach in Brazil, Donato saves Konrad, an ex-military thrill-seeker from Germany vacationing with a friend, from drowning, but fails to save his other friend. Initial sexual sparks give way to a deeper, emotional connection between the two. Deciding to leave his ailing mother and younger brother, Ayrton, behind, Donato travels back to Berlin with Konrad. There, Donato experiences both confusion and liberation as his journey for love soon turns into a deeper search for identity. Eight years later, an unexpected visit from Ayrton brings all three men together to reconcile the pain of loss and longing in search of a brighter future.
