Green White Green
Three friends–Uzoma, Segun, and Baba–are biding their time in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria, before heading off to university. They have dreams of being artists–Uzoma wants to be a painter, while Segun longs to go to New York. During their break, they meet a radical professor who is writing a book on Nigerian history. Inspired by the professor’s work, Baba decides to make a film, defying his parents’ wishes for him to study accounting. Through the film, the three friends explore Nigerian culture, ethnic stereotypes, and political views through a humorous lens. Discussion with director Abba Makama
