After three years in prison, Ashley Douglas moves back home with his mother in the hopes of winning back his ex-girlfriend, Linda. Ashley expects Linda and his family to welcome him home with open arms, but they don’t. Now in his forties, Ashley must restart his life completely with only the bedroom in his mother’s house, a box of treasures he buried in his backyard, and a deep love for Linda. His life begins to turn around when he makes a new friend, Jeremy, and they embark on a number of harebrained schemes. Andre Royo won the Special Jury Prize for Best Actor at the South by Southwest Film Festival for his performance. Discussion with director Josh Locy and producer Sara Murphy
