Jump, Darling
Preceded by the short film Playing the Game.
Russell (Thomas Duplessie), an actor who moonlights as a drag queen under the name of Fishy Falters, finds himself at personal and career crossroads and decides to move to the country to care for his grandmother Margaret, played by the late Cloris Leachman in what would be the final role of her legendary career. The move gives Russell a landing spot while protecting the steeply-declining Margaret from her biggest fear of ending up in a nursing home. He performs drag at the local dive bar, finding new friends and familiar faces in this vibrant portrayal of a family in transition.
This film is part of the LGBTQIA+ Focus series.
