Park Lanes, Spare
In between screenings in Berlin, at the Whitney, in Vienna, and at Sundance, experimental film artist Kevin Everson made a film following a full day’s work at a factory that produces bowling ally equipment. It is an eight-hour shift experienced in real time (this 90 min. version is edited down for a theatrical setting). The title refers to the name of the bowling ally where Everson and his family used to go bowling in his hometown of Mansfield, Ohio. Discussion with artist Kevin Everson.
