Unaware of the imminent Y2K apocalypse, Cam convinces his brother, Abbie, to remain on the couch of his filthy living room until he successfully completes the unbeatable level 256 of Pac-Man. Determined to rise to the challenge, the voluntarily imprisoned gamer is interrupted by several visitors. Abbie grows increasingly restless to complete his virtual conquest before the deadline that his brother set. As his resources start to diminish, Abbie’s persistent attempts to reach the high score further contribute to his downward spiral. Director Joel Potrykus (Buzzard, Ape, The Alchemist Cookbook) nostalgically rebuilds the confined living room space to resemble the nineties, an era characterized by Generation X antics.
