Storm Lake
In the small town of Storm Lake, Iowa, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Art Cullen and his family run the only local newspaper, The Storm Lake Times. A liberal voice in a conservative county, Cullen and his family struggle to keep their 3,000 readers, as they contend with high costs and a reader base that might be find it more convenient to read their social media feed. A tender and timely documentary, Storm Lake is an ode to local journalism, the power of the truth, and the small communities that make up the United States.
