The Addams Family
Gomez Addams (Raul Julia), the patriarch of the Addams family, is thrilled when his estranged brother Fester (Christopher Lloyd) returns after 25 years. As the entire family, a collection of bizarre and macabre characters, begin to grow closer to Fester, Gomez’s wife, Morticia Addams (Anjelica Huston), begins to suspect that Fester is not who he says he is. When Fester gets the Addams family evicted from their estate, the family must work together to protect their home and each other. Based on the 1960’s television show of the same name, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Costume Design and has become a cult classic in the 30 years since its release.
This film is part of the Drive-In Movie Series presented by Morven Farm and UVA Arts: Office of the Provost and Vice Provost for the Arts.
