The French Dispatch
The latest in a series of idyllic, fantastical pieces by Wes Anderson, The French Dispatch takes us to the fictional French village of Ennui-sur-Blasé to follow the lives of journalists at an outpost of an American magazine. Inspired by the magazine The New Yorker, the film plays out like an issue of a magazine itself, and is a colorful, unique ode to journalism and the stories within all of us. Introduction by Jody Kielbasa (VAFF) and President Jim Ryan (UVA)
