Legendary New-Wave director Jean-Luc Godard emerges with a dynamic collage of images, videos, and soundscapes meant to surprise and unsettle the audience. Broken up into five chapters, Godard himself narrates the vibrant audio-visual experience. The nontraditional form rejects the use of actors and instead fixates solely on creating a direct emotional response from the viewer. The audience is forced to question the actions of government and the extent to which citizens are complicit in its decisions. Focusing on the issues of capitalism and the Middle East, Godard asks the public to be an active participant in socio-political change.
