Perceiving a betrayal of trust as a sign his girlfriend Isha is leaving him, Charles Young, an introverted video editor, preemptively blows up his relationship and isolates himself at home. However, on one unlikely day, Charles finds himself locked out of his apartment. He stumbles into a life-changing odyssey exploring his building and opening himself up to his community, meeting a world of previously avoided neighbors. The different lifestyles he encounters force Charles to re-evaluate his choices, as he begins to see his life in parallel with the people around him, discovering we’ve all got issues, and it never helps to keep them locked up inside. Discussion with director Casimir Nozkowski moderated by Chandler Ferrebee (VAFF) to follow.
