Vincent, a high school student, lives alone with his mother in Paris. Although his mother attempts to restrain Vincent’s efforts to connect with his father, Vincent sets out to find him. His investigations lead him to Oscar Pormenor, a God-like figure in the Parisian literary world who doesn’t live up to Vincent’s moral ideals. Discovering that his father an adulterer, Vincent decides to confront him. Incorporating biblical motifs into a contemporary setting, family drama unfolds between father and son.
