The Wizard of Oz
Celebrate the 75th anniversary of one of the most beloved films of all time with a special screening of a newly restored The Wizard of Oz. Swept away to a magical land by the whirl of a tornado, Dorothy Gale (Garland) embarks on a quest with a scarecrow (Bolger), a cowardly lion (Lahr), and a tin woodman (Haley) to see the Wizard who can help her return home. Adapted from L. Frank Baum’s timeless children’s tale about a Kansas girl’s journey over the rainbow, The Wizard of Oz has melted hearts for decades with its unforgettable melodies that earned two Oscars—Best Song (“Over the Rainbow”) and Best Original Score.
