Anita Modak-Truran
Executive Producer
Anita Modak-Truran is the executive producer of the highly acclaimed documentary Faulkner: The Past Is Never Dead. Modak-Truran has written, directed, and produced creative projects in Ireland, Switzerland, and Chile. Three of her projects have been selected for the Sundance Producers Conference. She heads Butler Snow’s Entertainment and Media Group, where she represents entertainment clients in business and litigation matters around the country. Modak-Truran has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Mid-South Super Lawyer in the field of entertainment. Previously she was the entertainment correspondent for the ABC-affiliate WAPT, Mississippi Public Broadcasting, and statewide The Clarion-Ledger. Modak-Truran has taught law as an adjunct professor at University of Mississippi Law School. She graduated from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law and studied film at Columbia College Chicago.
