Cord Jefferson
Director
Cord Jefferson is an award-winning writer and director who has worked on some of the most complex and popular series of the past decade (Master of None, Succession, The Good Place, Watchmen). Jefferson won an Emmy award for Outstanding Writing for A Limited Series alongside Damon Lindelof for their Watchmen episode “This Extraordinary Being.” American Fiction, starring Jeffrey Wright, is Jefferson’s directorial debut. He also wrote the screenplay, which was adapted from the novel Erasure by Percival Everett.
