Kazu Hiro
Makeup Effects Artist
Kazu Hiro is a contemporary sculptor and a special effects makeup artist. He is a two-time Oscar® Award winner for his work in Darkest Hour and Bombshell and a three-time BAFTA Award winner. Hiro is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. After working 25 years as a special effects makeup artist, Kazu shifted focus to fine art sculpture. Currently, Hiro is focused on producing large scale hyperrealist portrait sculpture in his custom-built modeling and casting studio in Los Angeles.
