Nayna Agrawal

Nayna is a playwright and screenwriter. Featured in Variety’s “100 Writers to Watch” (2015), Nayna formerly worked as an NYC analyst, DC policy writer, international aid director, and touring dancer. Her plays have been staged in Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, DC, Nashville, Omaha and Chicago. Nayna has written for Disney, ABC, Netflix, DreamWorks, Mattel and Sesame Street. Recent credits include ABC’s The Baker and The Beauty, Disney’s Encanto, and an upcoming Netflix live-action YA fantasy show (2024). She received her BS in Economics and English at the University of Virginia and her MFA at Northwestern University.
