Scott Alexander Ruderman is an accomplished cinematographer, award-winning director, and film producer. His diverse portfolio has been featured on platforms including Netflix, Paramount+, MTV, HBO, PBS, BBC, A&E, Hulu, and Discovery+. His film Pay or Die premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival and closed the 2023 Human Rights Watch Film Festival NY. Renowned for capturing organic verité footage and forging intimate connections, Ruderman’s humane approach to documentary resonates across his work. He is currently collaborating with esteemed filmmakers Jenifer McShane, Anthony Wonke, Cindy Meehl, and Sheila Nevins. Ruderman holds an MFA degree from the School of Visual Arts.
