Kat Vivaldi (she/they) is an artist/creative technologist based in Richmond, VA whose projects range from film, installation, sound, to performance. She earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts at Virginia Tech with a film minor in 2019. She has significant experience in film production and credits from feature films on BET+, TVOne, and VPM. She is associated with the New Orleans Film Festival, as a repeat screener for Documentary and Experimental Shorts, along with being a venue manager. She is also a former fellow of the Richmond International Film Festival working in programming, artist relations, and operations. She is responsible for ensuring all guests of the Virginia Film Festival experience the community involvement and valuable cultural atmosphere this organization curates annually.
