Dear Sobriety: You're Killing Me

U.S. Premiere

Pushing 40, Raffi has been in and out of rehab for over a decade. After getting thrown out of rehab and kicked out of his mother’s house, he crashes on the couch of his only remaining friend, Trino.

Determined to help Raffi, Trino encourages him to stay sober with intel on his newly-divorced former crush. As Raffi fights against his addictions, he must contend with his fears of the mundanity of normal life.

Mexican director Raúl Campos makes his feature debut with an exploration of failure, its unforeseen upsides, and what it means to be surrounded by modern comforts while experiencing overwhelming emptiness. This dark comedy paints an inspiring portrait of resilience and rebuilding a life.
