Floria (Leonie Benesch, The Teacher’s Lounge) is a dedicated nurse who gives her all to her patients every day, despite sustained exhaustion. When she gets assigned a shift that is perilously understaffed, the intensified demands and her growing fatigue come to a head as critical split-second decisions threaten to send the shift — and her sanity — spiraling out of control. 

Taking place over a single night, Late Shift is an adrenaline-packed and gripping portrayal of the hidden crises inside a hospital’s walls, with a standout performance from Benesch highlighting the quiet heroism of caregivers stretched to their absolute limits with no relief in sight.
