Marina disappeared five months ago after attending a rave in Morocco. Now, her father (Sergi López) and brother are traversing the North African mountains, chasing the pulse of electronic music to try and get answers from those dancing to the rhythm. With no leads, the two take a chance and follow a ragtag group of party hoppers searching for one last rave in the desert–one that will hopefully bring them to Marina.
Confidently realized by Galician director Óliver Laxe (Fire Will Come), this film is one-of-a-kind. With hallucinatory visuals, a thumping soundtrack, and a twisting narrative sure to keep you on the edge of your seat, Sirât serves up the most visceral experience you’re likely to have in theater this year.
“Some of the most authentically white-knuckle filmmaking in recent memory”

“A truly staggering and major film, one that has to be seen to be believed”
-David Jenkins, Little White Lies
