In his debut feature film, filmmaker Mohammad Touquir contrasts the innocence of young lovers with the harsh realities of political hypocrisy, greed, and opportunism that have emerged victorious in the region for generations. Employing an entire cast of non-professional actors, Touquir uses stark fictional realism to portray a literal landscape ravaged by nature and a political landscape that remains stubbornly unchanged.
