Fed Up
Upending the conventional wisdom of why we gain weight and how to lose it, Fed Up unearths the American food industry’s secret: far more of us are sick from what we are eating than anyone has ever realized. Following the complicated lives of obese children fighting an uphill battle against their own health, the documentary explores whether the blame lies squarely on their shoulders. Filmmaker Stephanie Soechtig along with executive producers Katie Couric and Laurie David explore why – despite media attention and government policies to combat childhood obesity, generations of kids will now live shorter lives than their parents.
