While living in New York City, lonely internet gambler Jack becomes slowly fixated on Scarlet – a cam girl from San Francisco. The more he discovers Scarlet, he uncovers her unrecognized talent as a painter, falling in even more deeply in love with her. Just as his obsession seems to be reaching a boiling point, fate intervenes as he catches a glimpse of her one day on a rainy street in NYC Chinatown.
